Tailwater Trout

Slipped south to Lake Taneycomo for some fly fishing on Monday and Tuesday. The weather was great with air temps between 50 and 55, but power generation and the resulting running water prevented most wade-fishing. Virtually nobody around. While bushwacking I found some spots and a couple pretty rainbows. Tried lots of new patterns I tied over the winter. I saw some daffodils blooming near the Arkansas border. Spring is on the way.
