Mizzou Cycling Mountain Regionals

The Midwest's best collegiate riders came to Columbia last weekend to compete with the Mizzou Cycling Team in regional championship racing. Competition was close at Mizzou's first ever mountain regional event, with ten teams from across the conference competing in XC, DH, DS, and STXC. Beginner and advanced riders from second year team Ripon College to scholarship-rider stacked Lindsey Wilson College put pedals down vying for the regional championship spot. At the event's end Mizzou's strong gravity riders and budding endurance team brought in a strong second place in the Midwest Collegiate Cycling Conference.
Mizzou's conference finish qualifies five gravity riders for USA Cycling Collegiate Nationals in Lake Tahoe, California at Northstar resort October 16 - 18. Stay tuned to waltsbikeshop.com and mizzoucycling.com for updates!
