The Show-Me State Games and the United Federation of Dirt are partnering up yet again to bring mountain bike racing back to Rock Bridge Memorial State Park. The race will feature beginner, sport, expert, and marathon categories. You can either register for the race at the link below or sign up on race day at the event.
The Walt's Annual Cycling & Outdoor Gear Swap Meet is back!!! Our swap meet will take place on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 10am-3pm. Bring your used outdoor, cycling, or fitness equipment and put a price tag on it. Don't have anything to sell? Swing by and browse the selection! Our friends from the Columbia Parks and Rec Bike Co-op will be here with used bikes to sell.
Simply print and fill out our swap meet form (link below) and put your name and price tags on all of your items. Drop your items at the shop on Friday the 21st from 10 am - 6 pm. Saturday morning drop off will be available at 10 a.m. if necessary, however Friday is preferred. All unsold items must be picked up by 4 pm on Saturday.
We are excited to announce that crit racing will return to downtown Columbia for another year! There will be competition at every level including a free race for kids 10 and under. For more information, visit the event registration page below. This event is presented by CycleX Racing.
The United Federation of Dirt is returning to Cosmo Park for the Rhett’s Run XC race! All proceeds from this race will be going to one of our fantastic community partners, COMOTA, so be sure to sign up for the event and show your support! Bikes, Bites and Brews is back for another year! Join our partners at Local Motion starting at CycleX. You can register for the event ahead of time at the link below for $45 or register day-of for $55. Proceeds will help Local Motion continue advocating for alternative transportation right here in Columbia. See you there!

We at Walt’s will be providing mechanical support at the starting line at Flat Branch Park in Columbia, at the Kemper Park Campground in Booneville, and several stops along the way. Cranktivus is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part food drive. Bring a bike, a bag, a lock, and about $25 to buy food. All of the food collected at grocery stores will benefit The Central Missouri Food Bank.
It's easy. You show up, grab a grocery list, figure out the best route, and start riding. The route is around 15 miles and we encourage all levels of riders to participate.
Cranktivus is a free event!!!! Please fill out google form so we know how many cyclists to expect. There are NO REGISTRATION FEES. You are only responsible for the cost of buying the food you collect along the route.
